Arrival of 7,000 organizations at Kumbh Kshetra
Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) – Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured that all the preparations for the Mahakumbh Parva will be completed by the first week of January. He had come to the Sangam Kshetra in Prayagraj on December 31st to review the preparations for the Mahakumbh Parva. He was talking to reporters after that.

The Chief Minister added, “In the backdrop of the Mahakumbh Parva, more than 200 small and big roads in Prayagraj have been widened. Out of 14 flyovers, 13 have been completed. Arrangements have been made for parking vehicles in 5,000 acres of land. This year, 30 ‘pontoon bridges’ will be constructed to cross the river, out of which 28 bridges have been completed, remaining 2 bridges will be completed in the next 3-4 days. Temporary ghats have been built in an area of 12 km for bathing. The work of the permanent ghat at Arail will be completed in the next 2-3 days. Chequered plates (large iron plates installed to prevent vehicles or pedestrians from slipping on the sand) have been installed. Drinking water has been arranged at various places. So far, 7,000 organizations have come to the Kumbh Kshetra. Approximately 1.5 lakh tents have been erected.
The Government to shower flowers on Saints and devotees
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath further said that people are enthusiastic about the Mahakumbh Parva. All the preparations will be completed by the first week of January. The first major bath will be held on Paush Pournima, i.e. January 13th, 2025. The second bath will be held on January 14th, and the third bath will be held on Mauni Amavasya, i.e. January 29th. After that, major baths will also be held on February 3rd, 12th and 26th. It is estimated that 6 to 8 crore devotees will come on the day of the bath on January 29th. On the day of the main bath, the Government will shower flowers on the Saints and devotees.
