Geneva (Switzerland) – ‘Work is underway on anti-coronavirus vaccines in several countries. In some places, the vaccine is in the third stage. If we look at their results, it is not difficult to dream that the coronavirus crisis will end now’, said the Director-General of the World Health Organisation Dr. Tendros Ghebreyesus. He was speaking at the UN General Assembly.

Dr. Tendros Ghebreyesus added:
- Even if the crisis is over, the developed and rich countries should not leave poor and undeveloped countries high and dry from procuring the vaccines. Help them.
- Even when the coronavirus vaccine materialises, the world will have to fight poverty, hunger and inequality. There is no vaccine on it. Many countries have such underlying problems
