Bengaluru – BJP Government had announced that a ‘Maratha Development Authority’ would be formed in Karnataka. To protest this, Kannada organisations called for a state-wide Bandh (strike) on the 5th of December. Police arrested many agitators for forcing people to support the Bandh. The number of the agitators who were arrested is more than 100. All the shops and offices were closed at Shivaji Nagar in Bengaluru.
