If no madarasa with Government money, then not even Kumbha Mela ! : Anti-Dharma statement of Congress leader

Thousands of crores of Rupees have been given for the Haj pilgrimage by the Congress for so many years, why does Udit Raj not open his mouth on this issue ?

By comparing madarasas with Kumbha Mela, Udit Raj has shown his anti-Hindu mentality !

New Delhi – ‘Government money should not be used for any religious programme. This is wrong. The Assam Government has decided not to operate madarasas with the money from Government coffers. On similar lines, the Uttar Pradesh Government should not have spent Rs. 4,200 crore on the Kumbh Mela’, tweeted Congress leader and former MP Udit Raj.

He later deleted the tweet due to protests expressed over it by numerous netizens. He later told a news channel, “The State has no religion. Everyone should be treated equally. No one should be discriminated against. In this context, I had given an example of the cost of Kumbha Mela”.

Reacting to this, Uttar Pradesh Minister Brijesh Pathak said that the Kumbha Mela is a world-class event. It is not limited to only Uttar Pradesh. It is attended by millions of people from all over the world. Therefore, such projects should not be criticised”.
