Person shot dead by BJP activist in U.P. in presence of Policemen and officials

The prime accused managed to flee after cops nabbed him on the spot, and got arrested later : All the cops and officials present at the spot are suspended

The incident shows poor law and order situation in UP. This episode is a clear display of lack of dread due to the Police among people and people not afraid of committing criminal activities ! Post-independence rulers are solely responsible for such state of affairs!

Ballia (Uttar Pradesh) – A major brawl, which occurred in presence of the Police and administrative officials during an open meeting regarding the fair price shop, resulted in BJP activist Dhirendra Singh firing gunshots and killing a person identified as Jaiprakash.

Following this, Singh managed to flee even when the Police had nabbed him while making a run. Eyewitnesses were amazed ‘how can he flee even after the video of cops capturing him surfaced ?’. Dhirendra Singh and six others were eventually arrested by the cops. Taking serious cognisance of this event, CM Yogi Adityanath directed the suspension of Sub-divisional Magistrate, senior Police officials and few others present at the spot.
