Consumers claim that this powder causes cancer
Johnson & Johnson faces lawsuits from many consumers claiming that its talc products, including Johnson’s Baby Powder, causes cancer. Taking this as a reference, the court had imposed a heavy fine on the establishment.

Washington (USA) – M/S Johnson & Johnson announced that it would stop selling its talc-based ‘Johnson’s Baby Powder’ in the US and Canada. The demand for the product has dropped considerably and hence, its sale is being stopped. Consumers from both the countries are claiming that this powder causes cancer and so no one is buying this product. More than 16,000 lawsuits have been filed against Johnson & Johnson. The lawsuits allege that the company’s talc product contain carcinogenic ingredients.
