Delhi BJP Government to celebrate Hindu New Year with grandeur

New Delhi – The newly elected Delhi BJP Government will celebrate the Hindu New Year on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada with great pomp and enthusiasm. The Delhi Government will mark this day in the same manner as national festivals like Independence Day and Republic Day, informed State Minister for Art and Culture, Kapil Mishra.

Kapil Mishra further said that the series of celebrations beginning with the New Year will continue through Shri Ramnavami, Hanuman Jayanti, and culminate on Dr Ambedkar Jayanti. All departments of the Government will organise various events on this occasion.
