Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma criticises Mamata Banerjee

Cooch Behar (Bengal) – Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma criticised West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating that while he expels Bangladeshi infiltrators from Assam, they are welcomed in West Bengal. He made this remark while addressing an election rally in Cooch Behar.
He also expressed concern that due to Mamata Banerjee’s policies, the Hindu population in West Bengal and Assam may decline.
Sarma further said, “This year, a BJP Government must be brought to power in West Bengal. Why it should be brought is for the voters to decide. In Assam, I have prevented Bangladeshi infiltrators from entering. Even if a single infiltrator enters, I ensure that the person is sent back to Bangladesh the very same day.”
