The accused had inspected military places in Uttar Pradesh and sent their videos to Pakistan. Also, the movements of some Hindu leaders were also being monitored. This shows that their intentions were serious. The Police did not reveal the identity of these Hindu leaders.
Rs 12,000 received from Pakistan for each practice activity
These terrorists conducted a practice activity by setting fire to pickup trucks and two-wheelers and made videos of it and sent it to the ‘handler’ in Pakistan. They were getting around Rs 12,000 for each action. The arrested Saquib, Vikas Gehlawat, Lokesh alias Papla Pandit and Arbab have been sent to 5-day custody by a special Court.
Searched on the internet for information on bomb making
The Anti-Terrorism Squad’s investigation has found internet searches on the terrorists’ mobile phones regarding making time bombs and chemical explosives. Some of the videos found were sent directly from Pakistan. The main accused, Saquib, was also getting help from his brother who lives in Dubai.
