Tehran (Iran) incident: Pakistan issues hollow warning to Israel after attack near its embassy

Islamabad (Pakistan) – On 27 March, the Israeli military carried out large-scale strikes in Tehran, the capital of Iran. The impact of these attacks was also felt on buildings located near the Pakistan Embassy in Tehran. Following this incident, the Pakistan Strategic Forum, associated with the Pakistan government, issued a warning stating, “Israel should keep in mind that Pakistan is not Qatar. If our diplomatic officials are harmed anywhere in the world, a befitting response will be given.” Notably, neither the Pakistan Embassy nor its personnel suffered any damage or injury in these attacks.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that indirect talks between the United States and Iran are currently underway with Pakistan acting as a mediator. A 15-point proposal put forward by the United States is presently under consideration by Iran.
