A Muslim father and son write ‘Jai Shriram’ on the wall of a mosque !

Bagalkote (Karnataka) – In a shocking incident here, a Muslim named Yamanuri allegedly made his son write ‘Jai Shriram’ on the wall of a mosque and then quietly fled from the spot. As soon as news spread that ‘Jai Shriram’ had been written on the wall of the mosque, anger erupted within the Muslim community. With the recent stone-pelting incident during the procession of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj still fresh in public memory, this second incident has further heightened tension across the city.
After making his son write ‘Jai Shriram’ on the wall of a mosque in Sector 44 of Bagalkote, the Muslim father and son left the spot in a rickshaw. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras. Following this, the Navnagar Police took Yamanuri and his son into custody. The Police rushed to the spot and washed off the words ‘Jai Shri Ram’ written on the wall with water. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
