Our objective is regime change in Iran; No fixed timeline for ending the war : Israel

Tel Aviv (Israel) / Islamabad (Pakistan) / Tehran (Iran) / Washington DC (USA) – Israel has stated that its objectives in “Operation Epic Fury” are completely clear, but no specific timeline has been set for ending the war. Our goal is to bring about regime change in Iran at both the political and military levels. However, the actual change will have to be carried out by the people of Iran themselves. We are giving them that opportunity. “Deciding who will lead there is not our job. That decision should be made by the Iranian people through free and fair elections,” said Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar.

War could last up to 100 days – US

The US Department of War, Pentagon, is preparing for a war with Iran that could last at least 100 days and possibly extend until September. United States Central Command has requested additional military intelligence officers from the Pentagon so that operations related to Iran can be supported over a longer period. This suggests that the US is preparing for a conflict that may last longer than the four-week estimate earlier mentioned by US President Donald Trump.

Iran threatens: The US will regret it

Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi

After the US sank an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean near Sri Lanka, Iran issued a strong warning. Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said the US would regret its action. He stated that the US attacked the warship 2,000 miles away from Iran’s coast while it was in international waters. According to him, the ship had reached the area at India’s invitation. It had 130 sailors on board. The US attacked without any prior warning, in which, 87 sailors were killed and others were injured.

India rejects claim that US is using Indian ports for attacks on Iran

Retired US Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor claimed in an interview with the TV network ‘One America News Network’ that American military bases and harbour facilities had been destroyed and that the US had to rely on India and Indian ports. India’s Ministry of External Affairs rejected the claim, stating that the allegation is false and misleading and warning against spreading such baseless and fabricated statements.

Russia ready to send 95 lakh barrels of oil to India

Due to rising tensions in the Middle East, the route for transporting crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz has been closed. This route is considered extremely important for global energy trade. About 50% of India’s oil imports used to come through this route. In this context, Russia has expressed readiness to supply crude oil to India. According to a report by Reuters, about 95 lakh barrels of Russian crude oil are currently available on ships near Indian maritime territory, and it could be delivered to India within a few weeks.

No clear information has been provided about the original destination of this oil shipment. However, it has been stated that if required, the oil could be diverted to India. According to the report, India currently has crude oil reserves sufficient to meet approximately 25 days of demand.

Pakistan’s defence minister claims Afghanistan, Israel, and India have united against Pakistan

Khawaja Asif, the Defence Minister of Pakistan

Khawaja Asif, the Defence Minister of Pakistan, has claimed that Afghanistan, Israel, and India have come together against Pakistan. He said that Pakistan is effectively being encircled. According to him, Afghanistan lies on one side, India on another, and Iran on yet another side. He further alleged that Israel wants to turn Pakistan into its puppet, and that India is also part of this plan. Asif also claimed that Jews are behind the Iran war and that there is an attempt to extend Israel’s border up to Pakistan’s borders.

He stated that the entire sequence of developments poses a serious threat to Pakistan and described it as a political and religious conspiracy against the country. He urged the citizens of Pakistan to understand the situation. Khawaja Asif further alleged that Jews are a threat to humanity and claimed that since the establishment of Israel on the land of Palestine, every crisis faced by the Islamic world has been the result of Jewish ideology.

The US recalls some staff from consulates in Karachi and Lahore

Amid rising security threats in Pakistan, the United States has instructed non-essential personnel and their family members working at the American consulates in Karachi and Lahore to leave Pakistan as soon as possible. However, no changes have been made to the functioning of the main US embassy in the capital city of Islamabad, and the staff there will continue their duties for the time being. A few days earlier, angry protesters had set fire to the consulate in Karachi, while the consulate in Lahore was also attacked.

Iran’s underground missile bases targeted

In the ongoing conflict between the United States and Israel, underground “missile cities” in Iran — tunnel networks used to store missiles — are now being heavily targeted. Missiles and drones emerging from these tunnels are being destroyed along with their launch systems. Additionally, bunker-buster bombs are being used to strike the entrances of the tunnels and the structures above them. According to US military commanders, hundreds of missiles, launch systems, and drones have been destroyed, and within four days Iran’s missile attacks have decreased by approximately 86%.

US begins chartered flights to evacuate citizens from the Middle East

Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, the United States has begun chartered evacuation flights to safely bring back its citizens from the region. According to the US State Department, assistance is being provided to American citizens living in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. US spending $1 billion (₹8,300 Crore) per day on the war

According to retired military officer Rajeev Agarwal, an advisor to the Chintan Research Foundation, preliminary estimates suggest that the Operation Epic Fury is costing the United States about $1 billion (₹8,300 crore) per day. Although the US defence budget is approximately $1 trillion (₹83 lakh crore), the real issue is not the total budget but the per-unit cost of weapons. For example, US Patriot missile and Tomahawk cruise missile systems cost roughly $1 million to $3 million (₹8–24 crore) each. In comparison, Iran’s average ballistic missiles cost only about $800,000 to $1 million (₹6.5–8 crore). Similarly, the US MQ-9 Reaper drone costs around $30 million (₹249 crore), while Iran’s Shahed 136 drone can be produced for just $30,000–$50,000 (₹25–40 lakh). Because of this huge cost disparity, sustaining the war for a long period could become extremely expensive economically for both the United States and Israel.

Loss could reach ₹19 lakh crore

According to a report published in the magazine Fortune, the total economic cost of this war for the United States could reach $210 billion (₹19 lakh crore). This estimate also includes direct military expenditure, which is expected to be around $95 billion (₹87,498 crore). Additionally, the estimate factors in the global economic damage caused by major disruptions in international trade, energy markets, and the broader global economy due to the conflict.

The US is using ₹30-Crore missiles to shoot down ₹30-Lakh drones

In the war, the United States is using Patriot PAC-3 interceptor missiles to shoot down Iranian drones. An Iranian drone costs roughly ₹30 lakh, whereas a Patriot PAC-3 missile costs about ₹30 crore. However, if such drones are not intercepted, they could cause major damage to air force bases, oil refineries, power plants, or other critical infrastructure. Therefore, the use of expensive interceptor missiles becomes necessary, since large-scale attacks could otherwise lead to losses worth billions of rupees.

Decline in the number of missiles available to the United States and Israel

Within just four days of the war beginning, concerns have been raised that the missile stockpiles of the United States and Israel may come under strain. According to estimates, there are currently around 600 to 800 Patriot missile system interceptor missiles available in the war zone. To intercept a single incoming missile, 4 to 6 interceptor missiles are typically launched. So far, approximately 150 to 200 interceptor missiles have already been used. If attacks continue at the same pace, their availability could become critical within the next 4 to 7 days. Some reports indicate that the United States is considering bringing additional Patriot missiles from Japan and South Korea. On the other hand, Iran is believed to possess a large stockpile of missiles and drones. Various estimates suggest that Iran may have 20,000 to 50,000 missiles of different types. In addition, it reportedly has thousands of drones, many of which are stored securely in underground bases built inside mountains.
