Against the backdrop of the Iran-US war, 99% of tourists from Maharashtra cancelled their bookings!

A major blow to the tourism industry !

Mumbai – Amid the Israel-Iran-America conflict, countries worldwide have suspended flights to Gulf nations. Among those planning foreign travel, 99% of tourists from Maharashtra have cancelled their bookings, delivering a severe setback to the tourism business, according to Vishwajeet Patil, director of Raja Rani Travels.

Around 200 devotees from Nashik travelling for the Hajj are stranded. Thirty-one citizens from Jalgaon district are stuck in Dubai. Forty senior citizens, including former Pimpri-Chinchwad corporator Suman Netke, are also stranded in Dubai. Additionally, 30 students from Latur, Dharashiv, Nashik, and Pune are stuck in hostels in the New Dubai area.
