Moment of global Muslim unity : Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Hurriyat Conference chairman

Srinagar (Kashmir) – Kashmir’s chief cleric and chairman of ‘Hurriyat Conference’, a separatist organisation, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has condemned the death of Iran’s highest leader Khamenei. He stated that the brutal killing of Khamenei has shocked the world. People of Jammu-Kashmir jointly condemn the cruelty and aggressiveness against Iran. UMMA (the whole community of Muslims bound together by ties of religion) should come together, going beyond all the differences and condemn this killing and the ongoing aggressiveness in the middle-east. It is a moment to register our historical unity.

Muslim in Iran is the highest voice of the world – Mehbooba Mufti

Former Chief Minister of Jammu-Kashmir and the chief of PDP (People’s Democratic Party), Mehbooba Mufti, condemned America and Israel for the attacks on Iran. She called it as aggressive act and described a Muslim from Iran as the highest voice. She claimed that no missile can violate the sovereignty of Iran and prayed for Khamenei’s divine protection and guidance.

Shia Muslims stage agitations in Kashmir

Shia community in Kashmir took to roads to condemn Khamenei’s death. Men and women from Shia community from Sonawari, Baramulla, Bandipora, etc., areas carried a picture of Khamenei and raised slogans in support of Iran. Different Muslim organisations and Shia clerics have condemned this killing.
