Jammu–Kashmir’s budget is double the money Pakistan receives as alms

India slams Pakistan once again for raising the Jammu–Kashmir issue at the United Nations

New York (USA) – It may be difficult for Pakistan to face this reality, but I want to tell them that the development budget of Jammu–Kashmir alone is more than double the so-called “bailout package” (emergency financial aid) of their entire country. Pakistan is standing with a begging bowl in front of the International Monetary Fund, and at the same time it is living in a kind of “la-la land” — a world that does not even exist. It perhaps has no idea of what is actually happening in the real world.
In these sharp words, India strongly criticized Pakistan at the 55th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council. Pakistan had raised the Kashmir issue during this session. India’s representative, Anupama Singh, delivered this stinging rebuttal to Pakistan.

India also criticizes the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation !

Anupama Singh also criticized the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC – Organisation of Islamic Cooperation). She stated:

• Pakistan has become a slave to the flawed policies pursued by the OIC. This organisation itself represents political compromises and repeated mistakes. Pakistan has turned into a puppet in the hands of the OIC. The organisation is being conveniently used for political gains, and in turn, it is also using the Pakistan government for its own purposes.

• Pakistan and its representatives speak irresponsibly, without any factual basis. No matter how much propaganda Pakistan spreads, it will serve no purpose.

• Pakistan claims that the accession of Jammu–Kashmir to India in 1947 was illegitimate. In reality, Pakistan has illegally occupied parts of our own country in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and is now resorting to baseless accusations against us.

• In the elections held in Jammu–Kashmir, the people have clearly rejected Pakistan’s terrorism and violence. The people of Jammu–Kashmir want development, and therefore they are choosing the democratic path. The world’s highest railway bridge stands on the Chenab River. If Pakistan cannot see it, then it truly is living in an imaginary world.

Editorial Perspective

No matter how strongly India rebukes Pakistan, it will have no effect on the shameless, thick-skinned state. Pakistan understands only the language of weapons, and it must be spoken to in that language alone !
