
New Delhi – The Union Government has approved the proposal to procure 114 Rafale fighter aircraft from France. The Defence Acquisition Council has granted preliminary approval to the proposal. The estimated cost of the deal is approximately ₹3 lakh 25 thousand crore.

The agreement will be signed with Dassault Aviation, the manufacturer of the Rafale fighter jets.
