Lashkar-e-Taiba admits having ties with Hamas !

New Delhi – A commander of the Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba has openly admitted to having ties with Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist organization. He has confirmed reports of meetings with top Hamas leaders. Faisal Nadeem, a commander of the ‘Pakistan Markazi Muslim League’, who is considered the political face of Lashkar-e-Taiba, made this admission in a video.

1.Nadeem stated that he had met with senior Hamas leaders in Doha, the capital of Qatar, in 2024. He was accompanied by Saifullah Kasuri, who is considered the mastermind behind the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. According to Nadeem, the two of them met with Hamas leader Khalid Mashal.

2.Intelligence agencies consider this a major breakthrough confirming direct coordination between South Asian and Middle Eastern terror networks. Experts warn that the alliance is aimed at arms trafficking, coordinated propaganda, and the transfer of combat expertise.

Hamas and Pakistani Military Linked on Common Platform

Details have emerged showing Hamas and Lashkar-e-Taiba leaders sharing the same stage at a Pakistan Markazi Muslim League event in Gujranwala on January 7. Hamas commander Naji Zahir was present as chief guest, alongside Lashkar-e-Taiba’s Rashid Ali Sandhu, who appeared in a political role. Security sources report that Zahir has visited Pakistan roughly 15 times since October 2023.

A Major Threat to International Peace

Counter-terrorism experts warn that any form of coordination between Hamas and Lashkar-e-Taiba could pose a serious risk to regional and international peace. Intelligence agencies are closely monitoring this emerging alliance. India is preparing to raise the issue at international forums and before bodies such as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to seek strict action against Pakistan.

New Hamas Recruits Being Trained in Pakistan

According to an intelligence official, new Hamas recruits are being trained in Pakistan. They are reportedly brought into the country via special flights, and militants from Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed are also involved in the training program. Hamas is believed to assume that Israel will not target its facilities in Pakistan, allowing these activities to continue without fear.

Why is this a matter of concern for India ?

Indian agencies believe that even if Hamas does not directly target India, its presence still represents a serious security risk. Hamas is considered to have more advanced technical and operational capabilities than Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. During joint training, Hamas is reportedly sharing its experience and modern attack strategies with these groups, raising the likelihood of larger and more lethal attacks against India in the future.

Donations in the Name of Gaza Used for Terrorism

Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), allegedly collected donations for Gaza under the name of Hamas. However, the funds were not used for Hamas. Instead, millions of rupees were reportedly diverted to rebuild destroyed infrastructure and bases belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.
