Washington (US) – US Vice President JD Vance has clarified the US position on human rights in Iran, crime in Latin America and political stability in Venezuela. The US was standing with all people who were demanding their rights peacefully. Vance stated that the Iranian citizens had the full right to raise their voices for their rights. This indicated that the Trump administration was ready to take a tough stance on those issues.
Vance clarified that the best way for Iran was to discuss its nuclear programme with the US.
The US was prioritising peace in the Caribbean and Latin America. The US was working with its allies under the policy of curbing the income from the drug trade, so that violence and chaos would automatically decrease, said Vance.
The US wanted the situation in Venezuela to remain controlled and stable. The US was continuously monitoring the new Government in Venezuela and was ascertaining that it was working in harmony with it.
