MP Prof. Dr. (Smt.) Medha Kulkarni briefs Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and demands action
New Delhi – Pune BJP MP Prof. Dr. (Smt.) Medha Kulkarni recently met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and brought to his attention a serious matter: land belonging to the Central Government and the Cantonment Board in the Pune Cantonment area has been illegally declared as Waqf property.
This alarming issue was raised by local residents, involving grave allegations of irregularities in land registration, unlawful alteration of the legal status of properties, and threats posed to the Defence Ministry’s land management system.
MP Prof. Dr. (Smt.) Medha Kulkarni urged that a swift and time-bound inquiry be conducted into this matter, strict action be taken to curb these malpractices, the lawful status of the land be restored, and appropriate action be taken against the offenders.
