Yagya for Release of Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi – Anti-social elements Create Pandemonium at Havan-site

  • Tear hoarding with Pujya Bhide Guruji’s photo raising slogans of ‘Jai Bhim’

  • Police take no action against persons tearing hoardings

Mumbai, 16th November – Shri Narayan Mahayagya was being performed at Gandhi (Jambhori) Maidan at Worli for release of Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi when a few social miscreants started rioting at the site. There were a few banners with Pujya Sambhajirao Bhide Guruji’s photos extending his best wishes for the ‘Yagya’. The social miscreants, however, ripped off those banners. About 15-20 troublemakers raised slogans of ‘Jai Bhim’ and ‘Manohar Bhide Murdabad’ creating disorder in the evening, between 7.30 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. The Police though, brought the situation under control, they didn’t take any action against any of the persons involved in tearing the banners.

Board displayed at the site of Yagya wishing success

“Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi Sangharsh Nyas’ has organised this sacred fire on 15-16.11.2025 for the release of Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi. Various devout Hindu organisations have displayed banners outside Gandhi Maidan extending good wishes for the religious ceremony. Several Hindus gathered outside the venue as they learnt about the transgressors creating chaos. They came near the entrance gate raising slogans of ‘Jai Shriram’ and ‘Har Har Mahadev’. As both the groups came face to face, there was tension but the Police tried to bring the situation under control and succeeded in doing so in 20-25 minutes. After this incident, a large Police force was deployed outside Gandhi Maidan at 9.30 p.m. ‘Sanatan Prabhat’s representative contacted Mr Parag Fadanis, the national ‘Mahamantri’ of ‘Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi Sangharsh Nyas’ and its Maharashtra State convener after the above incident, when he informed that an official complaint will be lodged with the Police Station and all other details will be shared in the evening of 16.11.2025.

Pointless riots by anti-social elements

There was a message printed on the banner torn off by the troublemakers and it was from Pujya Sambhajirao Bhide extending his best wishes for trying to fulfil the incomplete dreams of Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and for the ‘Yagya’, the religious ceremony organised by ‘the Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi Sangharsh Nyas’. There was nothing controversial in the message but it is alleged that only due to the photo of Pujya Bhide Guruji and his message exhibited on the banner, the troublemakers created chaos and started riots.

Editorial Perspectives

  • Why don’t such communal anti-social elements have no fear about Mumbai Police ?
  • The Government should take such Police to task for not taking action against rioters. They dare to commit such crimes because no action is taken against them.
