Hanif Khan arrested for spying for Pakistan

Treason committed during ‘Operation Sindoor’

Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) – The Intelligence Department of the Police has arrested 47year old Hanif Khan on charges of espionage for Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. He is a resident of Basanpir Jooni in Jaisalmer. It is alleged that in return for money he passed classified information related to the armed forces to the Pakistani agency.

Inspector-General of Intelligence Dr Vishnukant said Hanif Khan was in contact with the ISI via social media. He provided secret information to Pakistan about movements of the Indian military during ‘Operation Sindoor’. This is the fourth espionage case to come to light in Jaisalmer this year.

Editorial Perspective

Many who spied for Pakistan have already been arrested. The public must know what action was taken against them. Had they been executed then, no one would have dared commit such acts.
