Attempt to convert Hindus in Hardoi (Uttar Pradesh), 10 people arrested

Hardoi (Uttar Pradesh) – It has come to light that Hindus are being converted to Christianity in Bhatpurwa village here on the pretext of curing diseases. The accused Lalu alias Lal Singh used to call the villagers on the pretext of removing demonic possession and encourage them to convert. He used to hold prayer meetings by lighting candles. He would distribute Bible copies to the people. As soon as the information about this incident came to light, Bajrang Dal activists reached the spot. They opposed Lal Singh. As soon as the Police got information about this, they reached the spot and arrested 10 people; but Lal Singh escaped.
