Indian youth brutally attacked in Adelaide (Australia) in racial hate crime

Adelaide (Australia) – In the Kintore Avenue area of Adelaide, Indian youth Charanjit Singh was the victim of a brutal, life-threatening attack. He collapsed unconscious on the road after the assault. During the attack, the assailants hurled abuses while shouting, “Get out of here, Indian.” The attack was clearly racially motivated.

What happened?

23-year-old Charanpreet Singh was in his car when a group confronted him and began hurling racist abuses. They then assaulted him, causing a deep head injury and multiple fractures in his facial bones. He was rushed to hospital for treatment. Police have arrested one suspect. The local Indian community has expressed strong outrage, demanding strict punishment for the attackers through social media.
