Amravati (Andhra Pradesh) – Veteran Telugu film actor and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan’s recent statement against Hindi cinema (Bollywood) in a recent interview with ‘Organizer’ weekly has caught everyone’s attention. He said that Bollywood has become an industry which is more commercial and ‘money-oriented’ (with the sole purpose of making money).

On the contrary, South films are more authentic to Indian culture and have consistently tried to represent Indian culture more than those in Bollywood. Hindi cinema rarely makes films that have a connection to tradition.
