Thane, Maharashtra – In Hajuri area here, on the second day of Bakri-Eid, a cow head was found in a garbage bin. 8 days have passed since then. When devout Hindus went to Wagle Estate police station to inquire about the incident, they were told, “the accused has been detained, and investigation is underway.” The police also informed about the non-working CCTV cameras which hamper investigations.
.Hindus asked, “how is it possible that in case of Hindu incidents CCTV cameras don’t work ? Mr Vijay Tripathi, a devout Hindu has warned that there will be a strong protest outside TMC and Assembly, if Hindus are denied justice.”
.Despite law against cow slaughter in the State, such incidents are happening. If there is procrastination in tracing the accused, this issue will be raised to draw attention in the coming session, informed Sakal Hindu Samaj.
.Whether is assault on women or vandalising idols of the deities, or a cow head in a dustbin, the CCTV cameras don’t work. At the same time before all these incidents, when a Muslim’s bike is stolen from the same area, the CCTV cameras help tracing the thief. How is it possible ?
.Vijay Tripathi said, “These anti-socials have no fear of law, andthey dare throw a cow head in a dust bin. Though the police say that one person is in their custody, Hindus do not accept it as justice. The accused must not be granted bail; all those who consume beef are equally guilty and we demand that they must be declared guilty.”
