Palestinians accuse Israeli forces of carrying out the attack

Jerusalem (Israel) – In Rafah, a city in Gaza where an Israeli-supported aid center was recently opened, gunfire erupted as Palestinians gathered to collect relief supplies. According to reports, 21 people were killed and 175 were injured. Locals allege that the Israeli military was responsible for the shooting.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which set up the aid distribution center with Israeli government support, stated that the shooting was not carried out by their private security personnel, but rather that the Israeli military fired warning shots beforehand.
Previously, on May 27, a similar attack occurred at an Israeli aid center, allegedly carried out by Palestinian militants, resulting in 1 death and 48 injuries.
