“No bombs or people come from India into Balochistan – our own people are behind the attacks”

Pakistan MP Umar Farooq delivers a scathing home truth in Parliament

Islamabad (Pakistan) – In a rare and bold speech in Pakistan’s Parliament, MP Umar Farooq tore into his country’s own security forces, asking, “What exactly are our security agencies and army doing in Balochistan ? Why are we afraid to question our own military ?”

He declared emphatically, “There are no bombs or people coming from India—those attacking Balochistan are our own people.” Farooq further alleged that the arrest and harassment of locals in Balochistan only reflect growing internal unrest and state repression.

“How can India strike us so deep inside our borders ?”

Citing India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’, Farooq slammed Pakistan’s intelligence and security failure, saying, “India bombed Chaklala airbase—right next to our military headquarters. How did they manage to penetrate so deep ? Why is no one asking that ?”

He challenged critics to confront him openly: “If anyone is angry with what I’ve said, let them come forward and debate me on facts.”
