New Case of ‘Love Jihad’ Uncovered in Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh)

Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) – A Muslim youth named Iqraar from Moradabad introduced himself under the false identity of “Raj Thakur” and married a Hindu woman. He later raped her and pressured her to convert to Islam. The victim has filed a police complaint regarding the incident. In her complaint, she stated that the accused Iqraar and his brothers gang- raped her. Police investigation is currently underway.

1. The victim, who resides in the Brijdih Vihar area, mentioned in her complaint that her husband had passed away a few years ago. She later came into contact with a man who introduced himself as Raj Thakur. When he proposed marriage, she agreed for the sake of her children’s future. He took her to his village in Pipalsana, Bhojpur. There, it was revealed that he was actually a Muslim. After that, the accused, along with his brothers, mother, and others, pressured her to accept Islam. His brothers threatened her and gang-raped her.

2. Hindu Yuva Vahini (a Hindu youth organization) members have demanded strict action against the accused for fraud and gang rape.

3. Officers from Majhola Police Station have registered a case and begun an investigation into the matter.
