Prakash Ghode reportedly pointed to the images of Sri Kalubai and Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj displayed in the house and asked, “What have your gods done for you ? Have they benefited you in any way ?” According to the family, derogatory remarks were made during the exchange. The visitors also attempted to entice the family by claiming that if they converted to Christianity and began attending church, their ailments would be healed and they would receive financial assistance.
