Outrageous statement by Maulana Sajid Rashidi, President of All India Imam Association!

New Delhi – Maulana Sajid Rashidi, President of the All India Imam Association, has stirred controversy with his outrageous remarks about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Maharana Sanga. Rashidi claimed that Shivaji Maharaj had killed many Maratha kings and seized control over their states. (In reality, Shivaji Maharaj punished the traitors of Swarajya — Rashidi is twisting these historical facts! – Editor) He further stated that Shivaji Maharaj’s achievements are exaggerated and not as significant as commonly portrayed.

Rashidi also made a controversial statement about the King of Mewad, Maharana Sanga, alleging that Maharana Sanga was the one who invited Mughal Emperor Babur to India and that Sanga had killed many Rajput kings.

“Maharana Sanga brought Babur to India!” – says, Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman

Before Maulana Rashidi, Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman had also made a similar statement about Maharana Sanga in the Rajya Sabha. He said that BJP leaders claim that “Muslims have Babur’s DNA” (DNA or deoxyribonucleic acid is a molecule that carries genetic material and determines an individual’s identity); but he questioned, “Who brought Babur to India?” According to Suman, Babur was brought by Rana Sanga to defeat Ibrahim Lodhi, who was in power in Delhi. (Why didn’t Suman mention who invited Abdali to India? – Editor) Suman further remarked, “If Muslims are the descendants of Babur, then you are the descendants of that traitor Rana Sanga.”

However, many historians have refuted Suman’s claim, stating that the assertion is false.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj taught a lesson to the Muslim invaders of his time and established Swarajya. It is because of him that Islam did not spread across India. This is why even today, fanatic Muslims harbour hatred toward Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Rashidi’s statement is a reflection of this mindset.
