600 people arrested this year till March 2025

Mumbai, March 18th (News) – The issue of Bangladeshi intruders in the state is escalating. According to intelligence reports, action is being taken against these intruders by the government. Strict measures have also been taken against officials who issue birth and residence certificates to Bangladeshi intruders in Maharashtra. However, 99% of these intruders possess documents from Bengal, indicating their roots there. Despite this, the Bengal government has not extended any support. The Union government has been informed about the situation, said Minister of State for Home Affairs Yogesh Kadam while responding to a pointed suggestion by BJP’s Sanjay Upadhyay in the Legislative Assembly.
Minister of State for Home Affairs Yogesh Kadam further stated:
1. Bangladeshi intruders are being arrested from various districts across the state. In the last 4 years, over 1,029 intruders have been arrested, with 600 arrests made by March 2025.
2. Currently, police action is based on available information. However, delays in verifying the authenticity of documents submitted by intruders in court make it difficult to deport them to Bangladesh.
3. As a result, these intruders often secure bail. To address this issue, a detention center is being set up in Nagpur, where intruders can be held after their arrest.
4. The government is also securing guarantee letters from construction professionals and developers in Thane, Mumbai, and Raigad districts. This measure will prevent intruders from finding work in these areas.
Editorial PerspectiveSince Bengal has become a hub for various criminal activities, it is imperative to dissolve the current government and impose President’s rule to restore order and prevent such incidents ! |
