Incident reported at Purnia (Bihar)
Purnia (Bihar) – About 150 Hindu families in Sharma Toli of Shadipur Bhutha village have been stopped from using the road to their houses that passes by the part of the village where Muslims are a majority population. People have asked the sub-divisional magistrate and district collector to allow access to the road. Hindus informed that owing to Muslim settlements and their private land all around the village, there is no alternative road to reach their houses.
Purnia (Bihar): Mu$l!ms blocked the access road to 150 Hindu families' homes
It is shameful for Hindus that, despite being the majority in India, Mu$l!ms are displaying such dominance in a village!
Legal action must be taken against this as per the law!

1.There is no public road to reach the houses of about 150 Hindu families. These people have been using the private road but there are Muslim settlements on both the sides of this road and since the land is owned by Muslims, they have blocked the road for Hindus.
2.The local aggrieved people claim that they had given Rs one lakh to the land owner for using the road; but due to pressure from his community, he returned the money and did not provide access to the road. The present situation is that all the roads leading to this village have been blocked; due to which Hindus are finding it difficult to marry their sons and daughters. It has also become difficult to take a patient to a hospital because of the road closure. Muslims have started objecting to Hindus performing ‘puja’ and even using loudspeakers.
3.People from Sharma Tola had filed a case in a sub-divisional magistrate court and the decision was given in their favour but in the civil court, the verdict was changed favouring Muslims. Now, people have submitted an application to Kundan Kumar, District Collector demanding access to the road to reach their houses.
4.Sub-divisional Magistrate Kumari Tausi stated that even if a road is private, it cannot be closed if there are more than 100 families. In this case, there are 150 families, then how can they be stopped ? Many times, letters have been written to the Police and regional office but no solution has been found so far.
5.Sharma Tola village head Sahanur Alam claimed that some people do not give access since it is their private land but there were discussions about giving access from another side; however, people of Sharma Tola village were not ready to accept such access. The allegation of Muslims preventing Hindus from performing ‘puja’ and using loudspeakers is not correct. Some people are unnecessarily playing politics in this case.
Editorial PerspectivesIt is shameful for Hindus, who are a majority population in India, Muslims are bullying Hindus in a village in this manner. Legal action needs to be taken in this case. Please note that the so-called progressive faction, otherwise shedding tears when Muslims are not allowed to buy a house in a building, keep quiet about the insolent action of Muslims. |
