US President Trump lashes out at Ukraine’s President
Washington DC/Kyiv (USA/Ukraine) – US President Donald Trump created a controversy by posting on ‘X’ and calling Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ‘a modestly successful comedian and a dictator without elections’. Prior to this, Trump had said that Zelenskyy’s popularity in Ukraine had dropped to just 4%. In response, Zelenskyy had said that Trump was living in disinformation space. In reply to that, Trump posted the statement mentioned above. Zelenskyy’s presidential term ended in May last year. However, since Russia’s invasion in February 2022, Ukraine has been under military rule, and the presidential elections have been postponed.
