Mahant Chetan Giri Maharaj

Prayagraj, 15 February – “India will become a Hindu Rashtra. The currency notes will be changed, and an image of Bhagwan Shriram will be printed on them,” prophesied Tapasvi Mahant Chetan Giri Maharaj of Shri Panchadashnam Juna Akhada.

During Maha Kumbha Mela, ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ met Mahant Chetan Giri Maharaj and asked about divine indications regarding Hindu Rashtra, to which he made the above statement.

The Significance of Rudraksha and Mahant’s Spiritual Practice

Mahant Chetan Giri Maharaj wears multiple Rudrakshas on his forehead. When asked about this, he stated :

“Rudraksha beads were formed from the tears of Bhagwan Shiva and are considered equivalent to nectar. They are the ornaments of Bhagwan Shiva. To bestow joy and peace upon the world and protect devotees from obstacles, Shiva’s attendants wear Rudraksha while engaging in penance. Rudraksha represents the Panchatattva (five elements). Drinking Rudraksha-infused water even cures ailments like heart diseases.”

When asked about his spiritual practice, Mahant said:

“We reside in caves, constantly worship Bhagwan Shiva, meditate, and practice yoga. We perform Sandhyavandan five times a day.”

Mahant’s Appeal to Hindus for Spiritual Discipline

Urging Hindus to follow a disciplined spiritual routine, Mahant stated:

“Wake up early in the morning, take a holy bath, and meditate. Offer respects to your parents. Recite Hanuman Chalisa and Sundarkand. Practice yoga to maintain a healthy, blissful, and auspicious life. Those who wake up early in the morning attain Ashta Siddhis (eight divine powers) and Nava Riddhis (nine forms of prosperity). Bhagwan Surya grants wisdom and fulfils desires to those who rise early.”

“Temples Will Be Rebuilt Where Mosques Were Constructed After Demolishing Hindu Temples”

When asked about the reconstruction of temples demolished by the Mughals, following the grand Prabhu Shriram temple in Ayodhya, Mahant Chetan Giri Maharaj firmly stated:

“The Mughals demolished Hindu temples and built dargahs and mosques over them. In the Hindu Rashtra, temples will be reconstructed at all such sites where dargahs or mosques were erected in place of Hindu temples.”
