Trump’s statement after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Washington DC (USA) – US President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was on a visit to the United States. The two held a press conference and shared details about the topics discussed in their meeting. Trump said, ‘We will own the Gaza Strip. We will neutralise all the live bombs and weapons there. We should flatten the dilapidated buildings and lay the foundation for new economic development. This will generate a significant amount of employment for the locals. We have an opportunity to do something that could be phenomenal’.
1.Trump also mentioned that the US military could be deployed in the Gaza Strip. Establishing American control over Gaza would be a long-term process, and the US would fully own the region. He further said that this would bring significant stability to the Gaza Strip and, by extension, to the broader Middle East.
2.Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu agreed with Trump’s statement. He said, ‘Due to numerous attacks, operations, and terrorist acts against us, this region has been at the centre of discussions and developments for many years. Donald Trump is looking at the future of this region from a different perspective’.
