  • Impact on economy, healthcare, and education systems due to infiltrators

New Delhi – Due to infiltrators from Bangladesh and Myanmar, the Muslim population in Delhi has increased notably. This has caused the economy to decline and put pressure on essential services. The healthcare and education systems have also been adversely affected. Until recently, labourers from Haryana, Purvanchal (Uttar Pradesh), Odisha, and Kerala occupied the workforce, but now Rohingya Muslims have replaced them. They have illegally taken over jobs from workers, as highlighted in a report by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) titled “Illegal Immigrants to Delhi: Analysing Socio-economic and Political Consequences.”

1. The report states that Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators are residing in areas such as Jamia Nagar, Zakir Nagar (Okhla), Lajpat Nagar, Seelampur, Sultanpuri, Mustafabad, Nizamuddin, Sarai Rohilla, Shahdara, Bhalswa Dairy, Bawana, Dwarka, Rohini, Moti Nagar, Kailash Nagar, Khichripur, Sarai Kale Khan, Jafrabad, Khan Market, and Govindpuri.

2. The report connects illegal migration from Bangladesh to the 2017 Rohingya crisis when thousands of refugees fled to India, with many settling in Delhi. Brokers and religious leaders assist these illegal migrants in obtaining housing and jobs. Their network help create fraudulent documents, which weaken the country’s legal system and electoral process.

3. Due to the growing number of these individuals, crime rates have also risen. Delhi Police launched a campaign on 11thDecember, 2024, to identify Bangladeshi infiltrators.

4. According to the report, unauthorised settlements have resulted in overcrowding, unplanned urban expansion, and strain on public services such as water, electricity, healthcare, and education.

5. The healthcare system in Delhi is also facing numerous challenges due to these illegal migrants. In the areas where illegal Bangladeshis are residing, the education system is under stress as well, with a surge in the number of students in schools, affecting the overall quality of education.

Editorial Perspectives

  • Not just Delhi, but the entire country faces this situation. If corrective measures are not taken immediately, India may soon become like Pakistan and Bangladesh.
  • Considering that the conspiracy of religious fanatic Muslims to make India an Islamic nation by 2047 will be accomplished on this basis, India should be declared a Hindu Rashtra.
