On the instructions of God and the Rishis, I proclaim the Hindu Rashtra : Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati, Puri Peeth

Prayagraj – “We speak as per the prevailing situation, time and country we are living in. We do not demand from anyone but proclaim. Our voice reaches God. For three and a half years, I have been saying that India should become a Hindu Rashtra. I am spreading the message that I receive from God and the Rishis,” said Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati of Puri Peeth. On behalf of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati, placards saying ‘Bharat Bhavya Banayenge, Hum Hindu Rashtra Banayenge’ have been put up at various places in the Maha Kumbha. When asked about this by the representatives of the daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati made the above statement.

On this occasion, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati said, “As long as the Indian Constitution is in place, how will India become a Hindu Rashtra ? If Article 25 of the Constitution had been respected, Jains and Sikhs would have called themselves Hindus. No one would have declared themselves a minority to get reservation.”

In the Maha Kumbha, the Saints have demanded a Sanatan Board in the Dharma Sansad and have it run by the Shankaracharyas of all the 4 peethas. When asked about this by a representative of the daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati said, “Shankaracharyas should not be the representatives of any political party. Shankaracharyas are responsible for the 4 parts of the world, under their leadership, the muths and temples remain safe. We are not demanding a Sanatan Board. Shankaracharyas should work honestly.”

Slogans of Hindu Rashtra raised in the meeting

On this occasion, the dignitaries present at the meeting spontaneously raised slogans such as ‘We will create a Hindu Rashtra, we will make India great, ‘Let Dharma triumph, let Adharma be destroyed’.
