Sunil Ghanwat, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh coordinator demanded through an ‘X’ post that the Railway Ministry should take action against the concerned officials hurting Hindu sentiments in this way !
(Halal meat means that animals are made to face Mecca, their jugular veins are cut and they are left to die in agony letting their blood flow in large quantities.)
Mumbai, January 18 – On January 15, Mr Ghanwat was travelling in the IRCTC (Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation) ‘Mumbai-Howrah Express’ (train number 12322), when passengers asked for non-vegetarian food for their meal, and he noticed that they were serving ‘halal chicken’ to every passenger. While taking orders, passengers were forcibly given ‘Halal chicken’ by asking, which non-vegetarian dish did they want ? This is a grave matter. ‘Jhatka chicken’ (Jhatka means that the neck of the animal is cut in a single cut to reduce their pain later) is not available in the official trains of ‘IRCTC’.
Yesterday on the 15th January, IRCTC is serving #Halal chicken in 👉 “Mumbai Howrah Express”, Train number 👉 12322 to each and every passenger. Why are Hindus being corrupted ?

Why are Hindus cheated in this way ? This is hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus, this should be stopped immediately and the Railway Ministry should take action against the concerned officials, said Mr Sunil Ghanwat, coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, on ‘X’. Mr Ghanwat has also posted a video in which he asked, Muslim passengers need halal meat hence they provide it; if Hindu passengers ask for jhatka meat, will they provide it ? The majority of the passengers are Hindus why do they force them to eat halal meat ? When the railway employees were asked this question, they gave vague answers, which seem quite evident in the video posted by Mr Ghanwat.
