Manchester (Britain) – Indian-origin nurse Achamma Cherian (age 50) was seriously injured in a knife attack by Muslim Rumman Haque (age 37) at the Royal Oldham Hospital in Greater Manchester. Achamma was on night duty in the hospital’s emergency department. The motive of the attack is not yet clear.
