I could be killed in the Maha Kumbha Mela : Mahant Yeti Narasimhanand Giri
Prayagraj – The Police arrested a fanatic Muslim who entered the camp of Mahamandaleshwar of ‘Juna Akhada’ and Dasna Devi Mandir’s President Mahant Yeti Narsimhanand Giri during the Maha Kumbha Mela. His name is Ayub and he was standing outside Mahant Yeti Narasimhanand Giri’s tent. Suspicion about him grew among Sadhus when he failed to produce a valid identity card. On enquiring about his name, first he told his name as Ayush; however, his real name was found to be Ayub.
Ayub claimed that he came to Maha Kumbha Mela as a visitor and was not sent by anyone. He was from Lalganj of Etah District (Uttar Pradesh). He didn’t know about restrictions on the entry to Kumbha Mela. (There are more than 10,000 spiritual organisations and more than 12,000 camps in Maha Kumbha Mela, besides millions of Hindus; still he reached the camp of Yeti Narasimhanand Giri. Hindus are in danger due to increasing population of Muslims : Mahant Yeti Narasimhanand Giri
Mahant Yeti Narasimhanand Giri stated while talking to journalists that with the increase in the population of Muslims, Hindus are in danger. “I could be killed during the Kumbha Mela. A plot has been hatched to kill me. I was attacked by more than 10,000 Muslims outside Dasana at Ghaziabad. They have been continuously doing recce in order to kill me. I was threatened by Zuber at Bengaluru who had even attacked the temple earlier. A case is going on against him. I have given all the information about the incident happening in his camp to Vaibhav Krishna, DIG of UP Police,” added Mahant Giri.
