
Prayagraj – In the wake of the threat from fanatic Muslims of an attack during the Kumbh Mela, a bomb detection and disposal squad has started inspecting the entire Mahakumbh Kshetra. The bomb detection squad is checking all the shops, pavilions of the akhadas, vehicles, sand heaps, garbage cans etc. in the Mahakumbh Kshetra. This check is being done by 36 bomb detection squads.
At present, thousands of shops and hundreds of ashrams have been set up in the Mahakumbh Kshetra. All of these are being checked phase wise by the bomb disposal squad. Temporary relief centres have been set up at various places in the Kumbh Kshetra. At important religious places like Akshayavat, Lete Maruti, Nagavasuki Temple, Triveni Sangam etc., Police teams and CCTV cameras have been deployed 24-hours.
