Afterward, the Police shot and killed the truck driver. The attacker has been identified as 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar, an American citizen from Texas.

1. Jabbar was a graduate of Georgia State University and had served as an officer in the U.S. military for about 10 years. He was currently employed at a multinational company, earning a salary of $120,000 (approximately ₹1 crore) annually.

2. Jabbar’s truck displayed the Islamic State flag. The truck contained an AR-style rifle, a pistol, and some bombs. Jabbar was wearing body armour and was carrying a rifle.

3. FBI officer Alethea Duncan, while sharing information about the incident, mentioned that Jabbar did not carry out this massacre alone. Several others were involved with him. The authorities need the public’s cooperation in locating them.
