Bangladeshis accused of prostitution
Bhiwandi – The Police have arrested 23 Bangladeshis from Muslim-majority Bhiwandi in the last 25 days. They infiltrated India with a few thousand rupees and are active in the prostitution business along with labour work. In the prostitution case, Rosie Howie Gayan (age 33), Begum Asma Mosammad (age 43) and Rashida Hanif Khalifa (age 40) were arrested by Bhiwandi city Police, while Shahid Abdul Kalam Ansari, a Bangladeshi citizen, has been taken into custody. Cases have been registered against the concerned. Police are investigating the matter further.
