Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) – Hindu Nationalist organisations participating in a Convention in Mathura have demanded for expedited hearings of disputes concerning temples in Mathura and Kashi through fast-track courts, a news agency reported.

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) organised a Convention in Vrindavan, Mathura District, highlighting two more demands : Enforcing a complete ban on illegal Halal certification across India and stern measures to address the persecution and atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh. The Hindu Convention held at the Balaji Dham Temple complex, witnessed the presence of representatives of several Hindu organisations.

Sadguru (Dr) Charudatta Pingale (National Guide of HJS) said – “Establishing a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is essential to preserving India’s cultural identity and integrity”.

Citing a report by the Pew Research Centre in the US, He warned that by 2050, India is projected to have the world’s largest Muslim population. Sadguru (Dr) Charudatta Pingale voiced concerns about alleged threats, including efforts to establish separate Christian Nations in Manipur and Mizoram, as well as the misuse of Waqf laws, which He termed as ‘Land Jihad’.

Spiritual speaker Pujya Anurag Krishna Pathak emphasised the need for fast-track court hearings to resolve temple-related disputes in Mathura and Kashi.

Pujya Pawan Sinha (of Pawan Chintan Dhara Ashram) supported the UP Government’s stance on regulating Halal certification and called for a nationwide ban on illegal practices associated with such certification.

Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Pranavanand Saraswati highlighted the challenges faced by Hindus in Bangladesh and urged the Indian Government to press the neighbouring country’s interim administration to ensure the protection of the Hindu minority’s human rights.

Pujya Anurag Pathak said the Convention was attended by over 120 representatives, including Seers, lawyers, intellectuals, temple trustees, editors, entrepreneurs and RTI activists of 54 Hindu Nationalist groups from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Jammu.
