Movement led by Saints demanding dissolution of Waqf Board

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) – Hindus staged demonstrations at Rajwada Chowk demanding dissolution of the Waqf Board. The demonstrations were led by Saints. A memorandum was submitted in the name of the Prime Minister to demand the dissolution of the Waqf Board.

  • Muslim fanatics are illegally taking control of lands whether temple lands, Government’s lands or private properties.
  • The then Congress Government passed a law giving unreasonable rights to Waqf Board which are even against the Constitution.
  • The Congress Government gave irrational rights to the Waqf Board for appeasing Muslims which is now proving to be harmful for the country.
  • Waqf Board in India has more land than Pakistan.
  • Many fanatic Muslims are trying to exert pressure on the Government under the guise of agitations against the Waqf Bill. They are trying to create unrest through riots at many places across the country.
  • The Waqf Board is against the Indian Constitution; therefore, we demand that the Union Government should dissolve the Waqf Board.

Saint Shri Kaliputra Kalicharan Maharaj (Pune); Jitendra singh Thakur, Hindu Mahasabha’s regional president; Mahamandaleshwar Shri Shri 108 Bharat Das Maharaj; Shri Shri 108 Mahamandaleshwar Dinesh Das Maharaj; Mahamandaleshwar Vijay Ramdas Betma; Mahant Rukmini Devi; Mahant Rajnath Yogi; Ganesh Das Rajguru; Bal Mukund Parashar (Main priest of Gopal Mandir); Mahant Tulasi Ram (Navagrah Shani Mandir Kanadiya); Prakash Arya, ‘the Madhya Bharatiya Arya Samaj Pratinidhi Sabha’s chief; Ujjwal Swami; Mahant Ram Gopal Das; Mahant Krushna Das and hundreds of pro-Hindu activists participated in the demonstrations.

Saints have to come on the road to demand cancellation of oppressive things against Hindus since there is lack of effective unification of Hindus and it is shameful for Hindus.
