Lansing (USA) – A new study by the University of Michigan in the United States has concluded that consuming processed foods can shorten your life. This new study has once again highlighted the dangers of processed foods. Highly processed foods like pizza, burgers, hot dogs (made from beef, pork, etc.), sandwiches, and Coke shorten your life.

1. If you eat a hot dog, it can shorten your life by 36 minutes. If you drink a Coke with this hot dog, it can shorten your life by another 12 minutes.
2. Eating a sandwich and eggs for breakfast can shorten your life by 13 minutes.
3. This new study also looked at which foods can increase your lifespan.
4. This new study has found that eating certain fish can extend your life by 28 minutes.
5. Dr Olivier Joly, who led the study, said how important it is for our health to change our eating habits.
6. This year, a report in the British Medical Journal said that if you eat a lot of highly processed foods, your risk of heart disease, mental health problems, and diabetes can increase significantly. It can also cause problems like insomnia, depression, and more.
