Mumbai – After the Sheikh Hasina Government was overthrown, Dr Muhammad Yunus took the helm of the government  in Bangladesh, however, during his regime attacks on Hindus, murders, looting, atrocities on women and children, forcible displacement, vandalising temples have increased terribly. Everyday humanity is disregarded in Bangladesh. Dr Muhammad Yunus government has completely failed in  creating safe environment for Hindu minority and people of other communities. Hindus across India are protesting to express their anger. A person like Yunus who does not have any signs of humanity, was awarded ‘Person of the Year’ on behalf of the ‘Sakaal’ Group, by the Chief of Rashtravadi Congress party (Sharad Pawar) and the then Union Agriculture Minister (Sharad Pawar). Mr Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, has demanded through a press release that the award must be withdrawn immediately.

Press release points

1.  Usually in Maharashtra the Rastravadi Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) insists on protecting the rights of minority. Like minority in Maharashtra, in Bangladesh, Hindus, Buddhists, and Christians are in minority, why there is no sympathy for them ?

2.  Don’t the Bangladeshi minority deserve respectful life like how minority in India have ? It is incomprehensible why  Muhammad Yunus is a silent spectator to escalating atrocities on Bangladeshi Hindu, Christian and Buddhist communities.

3.  This stand is against peace and human rights. That is why the Rashtravadi Congress Sharad Pawar party must clarify their stand on withdrawal of the award to him and about these atrocities.
