American Senator Raja Krishnamoorthi asks Bangladesh Government

Washington (US) –The violence against the minorities Hindu and others cannot be accepted. Stop it immediately. I request the Bangladesh government should take decisive steps to reduce the tension and bring peace, this is the statement made by American Senator Raja Krishnamoorthi. He expressed his extreme worry about the tension in Bangladesh after the arrest of ISKON’s Chinmoy Prabhu.

Krishnamoorthi further added, Bangladesh should allow the people to express their protest peacefully and allow them the fundamental human rights of doing so and give them protection for doing it. Now it is important to take these steps to bring peace and reduce tension in Bangladesh.

It is clear that the Bangladesh Government will not stop the attacks on the Hindus of Bangladesh as the attacks are happening on the instructions of the Government. Hence the American Government should take direct action; and for this Krishnamoorthi should speak to his government.
