Mumbai – I have no desire for a position in power. I will work hard for my Lok Sabha constituency and Shiv Sena. MP Shrikant Shinde has clarified that I am not in the race for any ministerial position in the state through X account. There are reports in some media that Shrikant Shinde is in the race for the post of Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. MP Shrikant Shinde has given the above clarification on this.
Shrikant Shinde said, ‘Eknath Shinde went to the village and rested for 2 days due to ill health. This made the rumours even more widespread. News like ‘I will be the Deputy Chief Minister’ is being circulated for the last 2 days with question marks. There is no truth in this. All reports that I want the post of Deputy Chief Minister are baseless. Even after the Lok Sabha elections, I had a chance to become a Minister in the Union Government. We can understand the excitement and competition of the media; but I request them not to turn their backs on reality while giving news.’
