Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) – Hindu organisations have accused that a case of  ” land jihad” has taken place here. They say that the well belonging to the ancient Badshah Halwai Temple in the Gwari Ghat area has been encroached upon and converted into a ‘mazaar’ (tomb). Hindu organisations have condemned this incident.

According to Hindu Seva Parishad, the site is distinctly marked as a Hindu place with visible Hindu symbols. Despite being a site protected by the Archaeological Department, it has allegedly been encroached upon. The well contains tridents, idols of Shri Ganesh, and other religious artefacts, which have been tampered with. Additionally, the area has been painted green, and events for a so-called ‘Urus’ are being organized there. Hindu organisations have urged the district administration to take action in this matter.
